Please be advised that TALA is not staffed to provide emergency legal or accounting assistance, nor does TALA provide representation to individuals or organizations before courts, arbitration panels, administrative proceedings, or other governmental bodies.

To be matched with a volunteer through TALA, you must be:

  • A resident of the state of Texas or organization established in the state of Texas, AND
  • An individual artist with a combined annual household income less than $50,000 OR an arts nonprofit organization with annual gross revenue less than $200,000 AND less than $500,000 in assets.

If you meet the qualifications above, you are eligible to be matched with a volunteer.

First, become a member of TALA.

Then, fill out a Request for Assistance Form: 

All Individual Artist Members please use the Individual Request for Assistance.

All NonProfit Organizations please use the  Organization Request for Assistance.

All individuals and organizations requesting assistance must current members of TALA. Renew or join TALA as a member.
