Please be advised that TALA is not staffed to provide emergency legal or accounting assistance, nor does TALA provide representation to individuals or organizations before courts, arbitration panels, administrative proceedings, or other governmental bodies.
In order to be matched with a volunteer through TALA, you must be:
- A.) An individual artist with a combined annual household income less than $50,000 OR an arts nonprofit organization with annual gross revenue less than $200,000 AND less than $500,000 in assets.
- B.) A resident of the state of Texas or organization established in the state of Texas.
- If you meet the qualifications above, to be matched with a volunteer you should:
1.) Become a member of TALA, and
2.) Fill out a Request for Assistance Form (Individual Request for Assistance or Organization Request for Assistance)
- If you are seeking new nonprofit incorporation, fill out the Request for Non-Profit Incorporation Form.
- All individuals and organizations requesting assistance must join TALA as a member.
