Welcome Party for TALA’s New Executive Director, Lee A. Schnell, Wednesday, May 4, 2011

Please join us Wednesday, May 4th in welcoming our newly hired Executive Director, Lee A. Schnell. Lee comes to TALA from Habitat for Humanity Northwest Harris County where he served as Executive Director for five years. During his tenure, Lee increased the annual output of homes built per year to 20 and led the development of a 19-acre tract where Habitat will continue to build up to 90 homes over the next four years. Prior to his role at Habitat, Lee served as Vice President of Student Services and Employment Services for ten years at The Art Institute of Houston.

Lee and his wife have been residents of Houston for the past 32 years, and Lee has been an active volunteer for a number of organizations and programs, including The YMCA, Kid Care, and participated extensively as a youth sports coach. Lee and his wife have three children and four grand children, and his oldest son is an artist teaching art and photography at Brazosport College in Lake Jackson.

Please feel free to drop by, say hi and share some refreshments with TALA members, supporters, and many others within the artistic, legal and accounting communities!
