  • TALA members have the exclusive opportunity to meet one-on-one with Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) to discuss individual needs. These personalized consultations cover a variety of essential topics.

    • Understanding Personal and Business Taxes (TALA’s services are geared toward CPA-guided self-filing individuals. We do not prepare personal or business tax returns.)

  • Tax season can be daunting. TALA provides specialized content to help artists navigate tax time smoothly. Annual events designed for artists who file their own taxes:

    • Art of Taxes: Comprehensive guides and resources tailored to artists.

    • Ask an Accountant tax return questions: direct access to CPAs for your pressing tax questions.

  • TALA is unable to provide:

    • Tax Return Preparation: TALA offers guidance on understanding taxes but does not prepare tax returns.

    • Audits: Due to the comprehensive nature and time needed to conduct a proper audit, TALA is not able to offer pro bono audit services.

    • Financial Advisory: TALA provides insights and strategies but cannot advise on what stocks to buy or sell.

    • Insurance: TALA does not recommend specific types of insurance or insurance carriers.

    • Data Entry: TALA can teach you to manage your books but does not handle data entry.

    • Bookkeeping Services: TALA focuses on empowering individuals with knowledge, rather than offering bookkeeping services.
