The Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDL) offers low-interest loans to small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and self-employed/independent contractors. The EIDL program provides up to $10,000 in emergency relief that does not have to be repaid, whether or not the EIDL is approved or a loan is eventually secured.
- 2.75 interest for nonprofit organizations/3.75 interest for small businesses
- Possibility of emergency “grant” of up to $10,000.
- You will need gross revenue from Feb 1, 2019 to Jan 31, 2020 to apply. Nonprofits will need revenue and income.
- Apply under your social security number if you are self-employed/independent contractor.
- Make sure to check the box for consideration of the forgivable advance up to $10,000.
